If you like a dark and twisted series, this isn’t for you. This is fun girl power and represents Pakistan in a way not usually seen in the US. As a Disney kid, I can tell Disney is really trying to diversify respectfully. I love how positive her family and friends are, a show that shows community and love wins. Sure, it has some teen drama dialogue in places, but come on, it’s a comic hero story. It’s going to have tropes. The overall themes are beautiful and it’s a great feel good short series.
