Not Going Out is a Lee Mack-a-thon. If you love Lee Mack's humour, you'll love Not Going Out. The other actors are brilliant as well. Sally Bretton as the feisty Lucy, Tim Vine as the dull but loyal Tim, Katy Wix as the slow but funny Daisy, Miranda Hart as Barbara the wisecracking maid, the actors who play Sally's parents, the children, Hugh Dennis as the jaded doctor Toby (almost always the scene stealer), Abigail Cruttenden as the icy Anna and of course, the legendary Bobby Ball. This show is purely for light entertainment. The jokes never stop. You watch Not Going Out to have a good laugh and enjoy yourself for half an hour before you get back to your life. And it does a great job at that.
