This book brings back the art of story telling. I read the book to a group of children. Then asked each child to draw a comic book character to add to the story-a new addition to the Paw Springs Animal Shelter. So a bus load of animals came with their own stories. The 5 year olds used bubbles with single words. While the 7 year olds wrote sentences.
