After Episode 2 I had to reduce my rating from 3 star to 1. It's written and directed by scatterbrains that should be producing horror suspense B-movies. Picard is going up against a corrupt starfleet that betrayed it's mission just as Kurtzman and crew have betrayed Star Trek. Dear CBS, Please fire Alex Kurtzman, some writers, and whoever is doing the editing and science ST universe bible checking and then you might have a good show. Without that, the show is just a typical unStar Trek like average flip the channel CSI episode. Kurtzman so far is a destroyer of planets and TV shows. There doesn't seem to be any intelligence going into these shows anymore and I refuse to be drawn into suspensful long played out action dramas. I have enough stress in the real world. I'm trying to give the show a chance but I don't need to be on the edge of my seat the whole time (for no reason!... with terrible suspensful cut scenes and heart beat pumping sound effects (really is your show so bad yo have to add in heart beat sound effects?) and with ridiculous chaos/action and unscientifically sound nonsensical time line things thrown at me all the time. My nerves are already wrecked and this isn't healthy. Please people! speak out against de-evolving human brains that just accept this illogical universe where Picard is living in the Kelvin timeline with the Prime timeline as his past. We'll see how the next couple episodes go but so far I'm planning on canceling my subscription after the next one or two episodes if they are the same. I just can't support this (so far). I absolutly loved every single thing ST until Vulcan blew up in 2009. Then it went downhill fast. This was a bump up but still not working for me so far. I think what the world needs is more "unification" (exploration of(e.g. Vulcan and Romulus)) and not brainless divisivness and planet destroying in a cinematic action cheesy comic book like 10 hour drama. Seriously. Just release a stupid 10 hour movie and enough with this junk. If you goal is to make money and not a good show it works. It's obvious that Star Trek fans are so starved of something decent that even a picture of Picard will get them excited with their reviews.

For anyone who knows anything about the solar system or physics, this movie is terrible! Not to mention all the other flaws in this movie. It's like James Gray did zero research when writing this. I pushed through watching it to the end but it wasn't easy. This should have been a 15 minute DUST short film and still it wouldn't have been good. It's going to take a while to get over just how bad this movie was. Perhaps if you know nothing about space, are highly religious and just live the status quo dystopia attitude you might like this terrible movie. PS: The characters in this movie were dead emotionless nothingness. Scenes that would have been interesting and helped follow the film were totally gone and scenes that you could care less about dragged on forever. It's like watching water drip from the faucet only to skip forward to seeing it already in the gutter flowing at snail speed.
