This isn’t a film! It’s a piece of artwork. It is unlike any other film. To simplify it we are shown a parallel universe that could destroy the world but Donnie decides to sacrifice his own life to stop the end of the world. It has a soundtrack that beats any film out there. And I would say it’s the best film I have watched and I am a collector with a huge library. Even though Donnie sacrificed his own life he got the girl of his dreams and had superpowers for a brief time. It is a thought provoking film that might make you cry. The ending plays the national anthem in a very spooky way. The star spangled banner 🇺🇸 Home of the Brave! (Donnie Darko) Even though it is a fictional film it is very real. 5 stars isn’t enough!
