Mama Sio

There aren't any perfect films but this one is about as close as you can get. The characters, world, and plot are whimsical and captivating. There's a fullness to the world and the characters place in it. Nothing is over explained and the nuance of each characters development is charming. The score is one of the all time greatest. I've listened to this film while working probably 50 times. I still have a floating feeling every time it ends. The environments are gorgeous and the animation is absolute alive. 300 stars out of 5
