It's amazing that a movie that has some of the worse violence I've ever seen is being described as entertaining or funny. Which is why I think this movie is so disturbing. It's extraordinarily violent, but is presented in a light hearted, comical, fashion.
It's even in the category of an Action/Comedy film. Action, yes, but comedy???? You've got to be kidding me!
There's nothing funny or entertaining about people being tortured and killed. And I can't believe the violence in this movie is not being called out even by professional film critics. Thank you to the people who did call out the violence in this movie (see reviews below) and you can believe every word they say because it's true.
Why is a war movie tragic, or when someone is murdered or tortured in real life it's a tragedy, but in this movie it's funny and/or entertaining????
I think we all need to seriously re-evaluate our tolerance towards violence and that means you too Hollywood!
