This is the best thing square has put out, possibly ever. The battle system is amazing, full of strategy and seemingly infinite options. The story is familiar, and the storytelling phenomenal. Knowledge of the original game gives you a different perspective on the story and game as a whole, and the story itself addresses that gap.
