Illusion

Feels like it drags out endlessly, has really bad dialogue, unlikable characters devoid of personality, and terrible cinematography, for example, the scene where the characters are running away from the ship crashing on the beach, it feels like they're in no danger at all. The soundtrack appears to have been added as afterthought, as if it was composed entirely of royalty-free tracks without any rhyme and reason, and overall the film feels cheap, like a B-movie, except those where actually thrilling to watch. The concept of a cyber-attack causing the collapse of society is really interesting, it reminds me about Cell, except that one was better in comparison, even with all of it's flaws. This movie leaves you hanging at every turn, expecting something to happen, anything at all, but it's just disappointment after disappointment, endlessly building tension with no satisfying payout.
