I have a love hate for this game but recently more hate than love. Reasons: the dialog is repetitive and unnecessarily long especially when crafting or buying. Jeez. You can’t bulk build and buying only in 5s. Then nook mile tickets 2000 to go to a mystery island that’s literally the same island all the time. When searching for a character on mystery island it’s very irritating to use your hard earned nook ticket and get the same repetitive character each time! Literally just finished trying to get a character I want and kept getting the camo frog, alligators and monkeys. I have gone hunting for villagers and I haven’t seen one cat. It’s always the same animals for me and sometimes the character. Do you know how frustrating that is. You get off and island and go back and see the same one you left... like I left for a reason. Then the bugs, fish and fossils are all the same. Catching a bass and the same bugs on a tree or a yellow tiger butterfly over and over are not fun. Oh and let’s not forget the sea grapes. Then I have the same diys over and over... Then the whole sharing island thing is pretty bad I had to get a separate console and game to not share with my kid. I’m blessed I can do that but others don’t and this game isn’t as fun for the second player in the game. Kinda disgusting move on your part. Good thing is you can pass a lot of time with this game, it can be addictive. Some characters are cute if your lucky enough to find one. If your lucky enough to get matching set of furniture your island can be really cute just a little frustrating when you get repetitive. Sorry rant over just a little mad I just spent a day hunting for a new villager to only be disappointed in getting the same ones repetitively when it’s so hard to even earn all the nook miles. I still end up with a villager I did want again because out 70+ tickets I got the same villagers over and over.
