Loved the books, hate the series. Book was deep, had some weird and complicated characters, didn’t leave any science stone unturned. Series has a bunch of acid dropping chain smoking uber geniuses; some are too young and too pretty, and overact every scene (auggie). Production values feel very “straight to TV” and the science is glossed over in favour of breakneck speed set pieces to keep you interested. Disappointed (as I was with Foundation with similar criticism)
