As a pokemon game, this is subpar at best. The graphics are bad, and several things that should be seamless and work simply just don't. When characters open their mouths, it throws you right into uncanny valley. Even if it doesn't, the animations are not in any way enjoyable to look at. The "story" is forgettable and there is simply no reason to leave the wild area 90% of the time after you are done progressing the story. I beat it without doing any grinding of my team, which is something I've had to do many times before in other games of the franchise. We were promised it was going to be a harder game when pokemon let's go came out, and this is not it. I truly want it to be better, but it is not worth it. Don't waste your money.
