I watched this movie with hesitation, thinking it was going to be a mindless, bloody, remake. I found the opposite with the stop motion, movement, some how made the movie more realistic. The score was perfect, bringing you into the next scene, clenching my arm chair, as I didn't want to see, what was next. The courtroom scene was scary, but I couldn't look away. This movie grappled me in, from the start, and it's not another remake. I love the fresh ideas of this film. The dark scenes, and moonlight, made me check the outside back yard before going to sleep.
