The movie is more of a Mystery/Thriller with horror elements, then a full blown horror movie. However it's worth watching if you don't mind a slow burn.

If you like the original Castlevania, then you'll love the visuals. However the story and characters aren't as good as the original.

The Gameplay is really good, but the ending leaves alot to be desired. No spoilers but honestly it's the only complaint I can think of.

My opinion might be a little biased, but I absolutely loved the movie. The plot wasn't as good as 2014 Godzilla or Kong: Skull Island, but I appreciated every action packed scene. If you like watching giant monsters fight, then you will most likely be a fan of this movie. If you care more about the character development of the humans involved, you probably shouldn't be watching a movie called Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
