As a banal peon New York office worker in my youth, this movie portrays the doldrum and cynicism in an office workplace. In real life, it is more about exercising power strata. Who’s been there longer, who knows how things function better than others, who has the next level job and how the exercise their power over those bellow. Subtle most of the time. Power working in its most insipid undercurrent. In the end, as she walks away down a New York City sidewalk captures perfectly the loneliness of daily working life and dreams held that may or may not come true.

It's always a wonder to me why blowing up cars flipping through the air are more interesting than a well thought out premise driven movie. This movie did not disappoint, and the special effects were wonderful. In the beginning, the CGI looked a lot like a video game, but that very quickly turned into a believable universe. I did wish more of the earlier city scenes would have made it back later on in the movie. That sequence was very exciting. Obviously, I recommend this movie.
