Devoid of Duality by Tanmay Kumar is one of the extraordinary and thought-provoking read I have ever picked up. Various meditation techniques to attain enlightenment are embedded in the book uniquely in the form of quotes.
Have you ever realised the significance and frequencies of pauses in every moment and activity whether physically or mentally of life? This book will make you think hard about and question the known.
The author has efficiently presented the importance of pause, stillness, silence and consciousness. There is a pause or stillness between every inhale and exhale of breath and after each heartbeat. There is a moment of silence or soundlessness in rhythms, tones and even noises. You just have to concentrate on that moment of silence and you will observe peace and stability.
Focus on each breath, it will make you realise the worth of life and yourself. Visualisation, consciousness and contemplation are the leading paths to self-healing and realisation. Self is free of identity.
The title of the book is quite intriguing. From my conversation with the author, I get to know more about what does the title denote.
He brilliantly quoted:
"Devoid of DUALITY means you are free from the duality of birth and death, pleasure and pain, and joy and misery. It denotes transcending beyond the duality of light and darkness, good and evil, thus attaining the dimension of Shiva. The ultimate intention of the book is to make a Sadhak attain Shiva. A Sadhak is the one who is the seeker of truth, not a believer."
I was thrilled to know that this short read contains the essence of the universal self. I loved the book so much. It is quite thought-provoking.
