My partner and myself loved this movie, its played very straight in respect that the relationship between puppets and humans is somehow believable, well, within the context of the movie that is and the humour worked really well, some definite laugh out loud moments, especially an amorous encounter in our hero's office! Melissa Mccarthy was brilliant, very funny throughout. I guess no one is going to take a Muppet film seriously but the so called professional film critics really do need to stop taking themselves so seriously, it had a decent plot line, flowed nicely, had good dialogue and was well acted. No Oscar winner for sure but we enjoyed it.
