The film was at first a shock to me as it became a choose your own adventure styled game while the film progressed. I was impressed that the decisions made affected the characters and their awareness of the changes were also evident. However I was quite disappointed that there was a way to 'End to Credits' so soon within the film as though you were able to give up 20mins in.
At first I had thought I made right decisions only to end up having to retry. For those that may not have the same amount of patience could see this game/film as tedious and pointless, if the idea of its meaning and depth is not grasped. I finally got to an ending to which I was not satisfied with, so the next evening I watched it again, avoiding my previous bad decisions and changing the characters fate. As presaged but exceeding my expectations, I had a completely different experience with a whole new timeline and exciting new ending.
I did however notice that if a choice is not decided it does have an affect on the character and or it automatically chooses instead, which takes the pressure off. However the choices can sometimes not be in favour of the character forcing options that will end in downfall.
Overall, trying not to be bias since I love these type of games, the film could be hard to understand when trying to complete the objective of a game and so the point and or story line of the film gets lost. However its brings a new swing on the entertainment industry and an interactive method to film watching. I enjoyed the film very much and most likely will watch again to explore all endings.
