I really had no idea what to expect, but the show was surprisingly entertaining - primarily because of the format, constant ratings, and some of the challenges. And the "cast" members were generally likable.
That being said, the actual interactions (private chats, group chats, etc.) were mind numbingly boring at times. Maybe some of them were actually cut from the show, but I just don't understand how you can consider a 3 or 4 line exchange to actually be a meaningful chat.
Most interactions could be summed up and mashed together as - "how are you doing. OMG last night was crazy. lol. I got your back. Aw, you're sweet. Let's talk soon."
Seriously? That's it? It was like the smallest of small talk, and it made all of the relationships seem totally fake. Maybe that's the point of the show..or just that the "experience" brings them together. But it would have been nice if they had actually delved into their life experiences, even hobbies for god's sake.
Anyways, I watched the whole damn thing, so I guess their programming worked. lol. #NetflixWinsAgain
