I quite enjoyed reading this book, in no small part thanks to being a lifelong Floridian who has visited both Bimini and Cuba (as well as numerous other Caribbean islands) and is familiar with the power of the Gulf Stream. Loved Hemingway’s ear for dialog. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the actions that drive the plot are a little disjointed and opaque at times.
