Great movie. Makes you think differently about Joker. Probably not many people wondered why the Joker is this bad guy. We considered him an invented character who is evil because it must be so because, in the world of cartoons, there must be the good that saves the world and the evil who tries to destroy it.
This movie made Batman more realistic and more human than just a cartoon. I haven't watched Batman for years, I'm not even sure how many parts I haven't seen, how many there are, but when I read the review about Joker, I decided to see him and I'm glad I did. It is an excellent movie that has nothing to do with cartoon fiction. It opens our eyes and brings awareness of how childhood, family, society, adolescence, feelings we have experienced, both good and bad, shape our personality and our future, creating a new man.
Where a person suffered a terrible childhood, lack of love, humiliation from others, where for most of his life he was disrespected, where he suffered physical and/or emotional abuse and struggled with low well-being, there is a great opportunity, with favourable (or not) circumstances that a monster might be created. That's what the Joker turned out to be, and in this film, we learn why it happened. Why did he choose the path of evil? The movie means that those who see him won't ever watch Batman again and won't look at him in the same way.
The film should also make us aware that, on the contrary, showing love, respect, tolerance and understanding for our children and other people allows us to create a beautiful being.
