Gervais has been loud in his condemnation of the hollywood elite and their woke sermonizing. Then he produces a show that is a thinly veiled soapbox for his own homespun hippy philosophies, collected for over 30 years and kept in a box of collected quotes. There is only one character in the series, Ricky Gervaise. All the characters are masks for Gervaise. He speaks through them all. Afterlife is one of the worst series, I have ever tried to get through. I gave up in the end. I was painful to watch and not enjoyable, unless you enjoy watching a train wreck. Woke sermonizing at its worst.
