I will say, I need to re-read the series, as it’s been over a decade since I finished that last book in this series. I loved seeing the scenes I imagined in my head as a kid come to life. Truly magical. I will say casting characters that do not match the description of the characters in the book is a little disappointing, but if they do a great job at acting, I really don’t see an issue with it. I love this show already. Can’t wait to finish the series. I was diagnosed with ADHD in 1st grade. I have never fit in, anywhere. Somewhat still to this day. But reading the books, gave me hope for a better future. I really don’t think Rick Riordan’s goal in writing this series was to make it big or to create what he did. He wanted to touch the hearts of kids, like me, and make them feel like more I touch with the world, rather than alienated. I feel these actors and actresses deserve a chance, just like Percy was in the books. So happy for the cast and crew of this show. So happy to see it do well on rotten tomatoes. So anxious to see what lies ahead.
