Loved it. A little slow going at first but as the season unfolds, the viewer will get acquainted with the depravity as well as glimmers of some of the humanity of the ancient Roman world. Not as elaborate or visually sophisticated as Gladiator, but there's enough of a plot to keep the viewer wanting for more.

What a waste of a talented cast on an uninspired, shallow, and downright dull story.

Awful acting, unbearably dull plot, uninspired show. Tedious dialogues. The audience is taken for a ride, while the cast seems quite content to engage in never-ending navel gazing.

Disappointing concluding installment of the Star Wars saga. George Lucas is missed and JJ Abrams has lost his mojo. It's almost embarrassing.
