Mario Strikers Battle League is a good game but could've been great. Battle League is by far the most polished and enjoyable Mario strikers experience yet but it is let down by lack of content, game modes and features. Topped off by misleading multiplayer claims that leave a slightly bitter taste in your mouth. The battle league game mode is advertised as 4v4 online play but what it doesn't say is this is only available with exactly 2 switches and 2 players per switch. Needless to say me and my 3 friends were disappointed when we discovered this after shelling out for 4 copies of the game hoping to play online together. Despite the game having limited playable characters and the battle cups not really providing much of a challenge the gameplay is very good and make the game worth picking up. Hopefully Nintendo add extra content to the game and it can live up to its potential.
