Slow to develop with emphasis on the dark, cramped quarters of the ship and not the development of the story. All style and atmosphere with too little action on the screen and lacking the requisite suspense. Read the very short chapter (7 pages if I remember correctly) in the original Dracula novel and imagine it yourself and save two hours for another movie such as Between Two Worlds. Or watch it on TV and multi task to keep the film from dragging on as our appreciate the product tin values.
