I watched this on a whim, given the whimsical title and feel of the show. Surprisingly down to earth, you'll find that the premise of supernatural happenings to be not as scary as you'd expect. All supernatural scenes are super low budget, relying on camera tricks and angles; but there lies it's charm.
The focus of all the stories here are that one must learn to be human, no matter your station in life.
It's been a while since I watched a Taiwanese series, and the scenes here are shot almost cinematic-like, with wide shots of the city; you'll want to visit Taiwan for the feel. It's not as charming as Japan, sure, but the earthy tones will ring familiar for most South East Asians, probably more so for Singaporeans.
You'll cry more than once, but there's the surprise, not so much horror or schlock. It's beauty is in it's simplicity and groundedness.
