This show gives me Stargate SG-1 vibes, a show from 1997!!! I dont understand how a company can pour millions into this and be happy with their return value. For me, the show started really strong right up until around 10 minutes when the CGI started. Everything about it felt fake right down to the way they moveds. It was all down hill from there and soon after the story unravelled, partly due to how much it deviated from the halo universe. Masterchief had more dialogue in the first episode than he did in 5 games. In the games, it was Cortana who carried the conversations and Chief would have direct response. Unfortunetly this is not the case. The show fails to capture any essence of what made Halo great and attempts to make it into a sci fi drama. Chief taking off his helmet (in Episode 1) was the final nail in the coffin.
