Redfall first Impression Grade: C- Want a Spooky FarCry style co-op adventure with Borderlands loot progression? Can you deal with jank and bad UI in an effort to have spooky fun? I look forward to enjoying this with the friends I want to play it with, and it will get better with a patch/update or two. Expensive, and jank, but its the mood and the experience I want right now. Criticism: It is not very pretty, it feels very un-optimized and messy. I had a few crashes, went and updated drivers, turned down a few settings and we still had some slow down and lag, but it did work. Feels way bloated and slow for the amount of game that it is doing, needs optimization. Very much feels like a console first UI and design with PC second kind of play. Feels like I should wait for the first DLC and a few update patches to really enjoy this. AI is bad. But fun bad. This does NOT feel like a $70 premium experience. If you want a better co-op game stick with Back 4 Blood, but RedFall is going to be more of the spooky adventure
