I can watch Twister a hundred times. The characters were good people. This not so much. And the teen kid is perpetually sweating... at school, chasing storms, having lunch. It was distracting. Let's say I went to the kitchen to make toast, whipped up some salad dressing and didn't pause the movie.

I listened to the audiobook and I have to say the first few minutes had me wondering if Streep was up to the challenge. But, she did a great story justice. The story is comfortable and inviting and warm, as are the characters. I might even buy the book and read it on a perfect autumn evening, snuggled on my sofa in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine.

Didn't like it at all. It portrays Diana as insane and insufferable. The royal family is portrayed the same. I really don't think this portrayal of any of them was deserved.
