Let’s be real, it’s not as great as the movie , nothing will be, but for those generations that barely know who Selena was or almost on brink of forgetting , it’s a wholehearted series that the family can enjoy. I remember Selena and her death happening when I was a kid , now my nieces are that age and this show for them is a piece of my childhood that I can share. It’s great for the family, it’s great for remembering that latinas are poderosas , and it’s great for the continuing legacy of Selena.
