When I starting watching this show --- because my wife was doing so --- a few months ago (starting with the first season), I thought it was the dumbest TV show I had seen in my 58 years of watching most dumb TV shows. But wow had that opinion changed. I still only watch about a third of the episodes with my wife. But the show has evolved from dumb to one of the places of pure joy in the world today. No politics. No nastiness. No unnecessary (even when sometimes appropriate) appropriate criticism. No discussion or race, or gender. And virtually no talk of money (even though we all know that both the guests and the panelists are obscenely wealthy). Everyone is just having fun. It is the best of America today --- maybe still a little dumb, but with the dumbness far outweighed by the love and the goodness of everyone involved.
