The acting and cgi were far too good to only give this movie one star, so I give it two stars. Overall, it was quite disappointing. This movie deserves a completely different title because firstly, this was not a doctor strange movie; this was a scarlet witch and America Chavez movie with a doctor strange appearance. Secondly, this was no multiverse of madness. I think we got about 3 total minutes of said “madness” the rest was just an organized multiverse switch. I’m also sick of seeing Wanda Maximoff do the same thing in every thing she’s in. In age of ultron, wandavision, and now this film she is the bad guy who does not know she is bad, realizes she is bad, fixes bad thing and tries to be good. It’s overdone at this point. I love love love marvel but am slowly falling out of love with these films. The build up and exciting introduction of fun characters is not making up for the lack of writing put into these films lately. An incredibly talented cast did the best that they could with the script they were given. I just wish we truly were given another doctor strange movie after all this time waiting.
