I saw this film when I was seven and loved it. Disney brought out two other films about the same time: Robin Hood and Rob Roy.
Richard Todd starred in all three.
Of course, over the years I have watched it several more times and will watch it again. Each time I do, I find something I either didn't understand or missed in the previous viewing.
It gave me a love for the rest of my life for historical drama and history in general. The result is, I now write my own Historical fiction.
