Sadly MCU is showing some awful signs of being own by Disney. This show began as another high school drama made for teens, (probably by teens) and it is not doing anything new. Many many problems, starting with writing. Characters, story, and events are all but clichéd to death. I was always worried that MCU would become so popular that it would turn into an outlet of popular opinions and declination of quality.

Literally “The Room” is a better movie compared to this regrettably star packed flick. At best a B-rated satire that does not work in anyway and its filled with obvious and repetitive hints on recent problems. Politics, covid, global warming, social media and big corporations are topics that the movie mentions (yet never challenges) and makes insanely mediocre jokes about over and over. The line between humor and drama is so blurred and confusing that even the movie itself doesn’t understand what is supposed to be funny and what is not. A waste of time, and not thought provoking, even though it could easily be with a better director and a good script.
