Pepe Melon

I've been a fan since their debut album. To me, this is a highly overrated album compared to their previous work. Crawler has more character and better melodies. This album feels like it wasn't properly finished, and lacks the band's songwriting genius, probably because of the expectations from the public and relying too heavily on producers instead of themselves to transform their sound. They gave up on being punks, probably because of so much controversy and being repetitive. Still, the melodies in this album feel monotonous and no guitars or drums shine like they did on previous albums. I would rank their albums as: Joy Crawler Brutalism Tangk Ultra mono
