Not even 1 star ... awful movie. No one helps! I know humanity isn't great - but this was ridiculous. Scene after scene, this crazy dude is being over the top violent and no one calls police - ridiculous. Senseless violence perhaps appealing to angry white men. I don't know how it's number 1 on Netflix.

Midnight at the Pera Palace is a classic time-travel and murder mystery set in two different Istanbuls, the one it is now and the Ottoman Empire that it was in 1919. It’s lightweight but still dramatic - with the most important event in modern Turkish history in jeapody. Netflix series, one season with eight episodes...Watch!

If you're not watching, why the hell not? I'm not a horror fan, didn't even know about Lovecraft, stumbled upon it, episode 8, and then had to go back to watch from the beginning. You will want to start with the first episode and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent to watch ... action, love, fantasy, more action! Shame Amazon Prime Video for canceling after 2 seasons.
