Little Fires Everywhere Book Review
by Brian Tay
5/5 very interesting and weird story, descriptive writing, mature topics, well developed characters
Audience - high school and up (too mature for middle school) 13 +
Summary - The rich, picture perfect Richardson family meets the vagabond Warrens when they move to town and they have much to learn from each other. The Warrens arrive as outcasts and the Richardsons take them under their wings. Abortion, economic status, sex, relationships, pregnancy, race issues, adoption and prejudice all arise as issues between the families and are explored in the story.
What to know before you read - Beware of mature topics.
Issue/Big topics - abortion, economic status, sex, relationships, race issues, prejudice, pregnancy, adoption
This book pushes boundaries and makes you think and question.
