I think this is one of the best movies I have seen in my life. It did not get the Oscar, of course, it is not an entertainment, but a wakeup call for the viewers. The surrealistic scenes from the jail with the whispering evil temptations and the hero's attempts to save his soul, the conversation with the judge, are the real master pieces. And the presence of death as a personality following the hero in the jail yard with the sign "Sprechen verboten" (Speaking is prohibited). The camera, text, actors, music are so alive and convincing. I wanted to congratulate the whole team on this masterpiece
