A really fun and exciting base game, but the DLC practices of the company are just ridiculous. $20 a pop for various "packs" that only have about 4 new characters, released constantly with no season patch option or bundle. The DLC packs will end up costing *more* than the base game, and out of all of them, I can only thing of one that will provide more than one hour of gameplay for you.

A major disappointment in almost every single way. This "upgrade" adds a massive amount of new bugs and takes away tons of features, and forces you to download a 32GB patch for a twenty year old game. If you have a computer that could run Warcraft 3 just fine, but not Reforged, you're out of luck because the game is rendered unplayable, as Reforged erases and overwrites the previous version; a poignant and depressing metaphor for modern Activision-Blizzard. What was originally advertised as a AAA gaming experience is merely an HD mod for the original Warcraft 3 with major content downgrades. Play Warcraft 3 off the old CDs or pirate it, just avoid this mess at all costs.
