It's a story that needs to be watched and heard. The movie falters on a few technicalities like the narrative isn't perfect and at certain times you're left guessing because the scene doesn't immediately tie in to the main story line BUT the movie more than makes up for it with it's authentic representation of the issues, great background scores and staying grounded in a way that it's true to reality. I'm not from the northeast but I think this movie does a great job in bringing their issues to light better than anything else I've seen in the mainstream media. Ayushman for me does an okay job here, he's trying to imbibe the personality of a brooding solider who has committed war crimes and lost hope, at least most of it. His acting is limited but like I said it doesn't matter because the subject is far more important than any of the minor details.
