"Pookkalam"is a pure family entertainer.The plot revolves round a 100 year old patriarch of a Christian family and tells how cracks develop in his long and happy wedded life after his chance discovery of a love letter written to his wife fifty years ago .The cast is simply superb. You can see in this movie, one of the stellar performances by actor Vijayaraghavan.

Watched only the latter half of the movie. Superb performances by Balachandra Menon and Sumithra.
How a couple become dependent on and inseparable from each other as they grow older is portrayed so well.
