I tried to find redeeming value in this show to no avail. You could drive a monster truck through the plot holes, the storylines that were introduced and just disappeared, and the production value was a joke. So many of the obvious painted (or was it CGI) backgrounds. Once you notice one, you notice them all.
Lee Jae-Wook should have a come to Jesus meeting with his agent. This script should never have come his way it’s so below the quality programming he’s done in the past. Let’s hope he got a huge salary!
Hong Suzu is not qualified to be a FL. She drove me insane with her raised eyebrows and wide open eyes that I guess were supposed to signify every emotion for her character. Directors should stop casting based on looks alone. (I know, it’ll never happen.) I try to have some compassion for new actors, but how many takes happened before the director yelled “Cut! Print!”and that’s the best he got out of her?
Tragic.
