One of the average movies from vijay..its not his fault.he just did his level best.but nelson didnt had a great time .good story but very bad screenplay,average direction.i just expected this movie like diehard (1988) after watching the trailer.some scenes are taken from diehard.most of the scenes taken from a video game hitman silent assassin 2.if u had doubt. Vikram is one of the best performance from kamal after vishwaroopam..Most of the movie dealt with drug peddling.but still logesh doesnt know who is seizing drugs in real world ???.our andavar himself acted a wonderfull movie thoongavanam. IRS officers who always go to work in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) .prabanjan is an IPS officer working as Assistant commissioner narcotics reports to Inspector bejoy. Its very silly.why an assistant commissioner reporting to an Inspector.??? Why an assistant commissioner narcotics reporting to city police commissioner.NCB got their own officers to look after this issues and they got their revenue commissioner too.while remaking sleepless night french movie into THOONGAVANAM.our andavar did a very good job by analysing which agency takes action against drugs?which officers involved in drug busts and investigations.local police dont do this.DRI (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence) and NCB acts against drugs.mostly IRS officers and sometimes IPS officers dealt this...anyway this movie is very good entertainment .

One of the best action thriller south indian movie to watch,dnt miss this kind of movie,the plot is very much interesting drug smuggling, not yet a south indian director made a clear cut action movie with this thing combined with undercover agent characters, only i saw this kind of plot only in hollywood movies,the whole crew had done the best job. ..magizh thirumeni sir u r a brilliant director on making action thrillers ..expecting ur movie thadam ..

Some people is saying this movie is slow .the logical story revolves around a young ips officer. This is real.Most of us saw heros doing police officers role with more head hair ,skinned body, wearing outranked uniforms .But here its completely logical.most of the ips officers r being fit in their initial part of their career. They wnt say punch dialogues. They wnt disrespect their superiors.Gautham s cop movie changed the police stories in tamil cinema. I loved(very much) this movie .As an aspirant of IPS cadre i was very motivated with this movie.

Superb movie.i saw it as tamil dubbed.real power of honest ips officer.the overall scenario of corrupted babus and politicians vs honest bureaucrts.90 s movie reflects 21 st century s brutal corruption.clearly a lesson for all probationary ips officers.an honest ips officer is always nightmare for all corrupted politicians and bureaucrts.one who loves to become ips officer will be impressed when they see this movie...
