??? The riddler got that right! I’ve finally watched this Batman, I’ve been putting it off as I knew it would be bad but I relented and thought screw it, I might be wrong given the 5 star glowing reviews here.. Well thanks you lot as this was the worst Batman, ok 2nd worst as sorry Clooney you win that one. So ok what was right: I quite liked Battison in the suit, it kind of worked. The beginning started off well til part way through the fight scene then it snowballed down hill. I liked the dark moody grunge feel to the film albeit at times was to dark the pictures were not clear. The riddler in his weird psychotic get up was freeky and entertaining. That’s where it ends! Now what’s wrong, well everything else! Battison out of his costume was so far removed from the Bruce Wayne we’ve come to know, he looked like a grubby twenty year old stuck in the grunge era. There was no fancy mansion, he spent most of the film in a cave. No cool gadgets, he had a dirt bike and the Bat mobile was underwhelming! He seemed insecure when actually confronted unless they were behind glass. He was dumb and couldn’t work out that a rat with wings could be him! The riddler out of costume looked like a sweaty fiddy kiddler! Cat woman didn’t have any of the allure we’ve come to expect, again looked to young, the only connection was she had two cats, her costume was awful! Penguin was a fat gangster who had no point to the story! They spent most of the film chasing after some blond chick who we never knew who or why she was important to the plot! The only thing that would have topped this off was if they made vengeance (what was that about) sorry Batman sparkle! Anyway that’s my very short version 😂 Please bring back Christian Bale or someone better.
