I think the movie for intended purposes was a pretty good movie and I would watch it again. However I think the Director unintentionally made it the end of any foregoing sequels. I think the movie was a combination of the 13th ghost, the exorcist and the conjuring... it derailed completely off track: investigative paranormal and witchcraft combo.
