So I never actually leave film reviews but had to on this occasion - Genuinely the worst film I have ever watched. The acting was honestly awful - genuinely have seen better acting in a child’s nativity play- with actors declaring the story plot through the film. ‘We are on an island and something is causing us to age fast’ really???? There was potential for the film to really hone in on the message of ‘live for now’, but this was lost because of the ridiculous acting and poor plot. The storyline at time was so stupid, imagine your husband getting knifed by a psychotic man on a beach and as his wife rather than help him, you decide to run to the other side of the beach to tell your kids (who are now older teenagers) to go hide before returning to help your husband? What???? You’d react at that moment in time, or ask the young adults to help??? PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY** Shyamalan owes me £16 for 2 cinema tickets and needs to find a new job. Literally wish I could give this zero stars. Absolutely awful!!! Genuinely angry at how this even got to the big screen when so many other good films have never made it!!
