If they wanted to make this story and have the fans universally accept it then they shouldn’t have written and created the story they did in Part 1. Instead an edgy story was written that didn’t really connect with me. However the problem is that not everyone is edgy or edgy enough to connect with what we got after a 7 year wait.
It’s as simple as that really.
