It's hard to sum up their body of work spanning what is now, close to three decades?
I’ll give it a shot though, I feel it’s the least I can do for the countless good memories and timeless melodies. The word “timeless” is apropos since their recent seems futuristic and prophetic at the time.
Let’s suppose a time-traveler, no matter what decade they hail from, or traveled through or even traveled to, stumbled upon this menagerie of music and stunning scenery. OK. Do you see it, do you have that image? You should, because it could be you. You’re a time traveler. All life and all matter travels with Captain Time.
The first thing the Traveler would hear, would be a faint familiarity emanating through the airwaves. At first glance the gravity of the event/show/IMAX might be a bit overwhelming, hundreds of thousands screaming, lights beaming, and melodies teaming. But when the “ah-ha” moment washes over, they will saunter toward the stage pulled by an unknown force, call it curiosity.
They will settle as close as comfort allows and begin to take in the unprecedented mx of showmanship, originality, killer tunes, unity all abound! And for the first time since they began their travels they hear thee most pleasant sound of em all, the sound of family. No sooner than that warmth of wonder wash over them, bam! A thunderous energy sweeps away any revelry and stands them in the now, the present, soaking in the miracle serving all who see and more importantly hear.
They’ll stare with fluid amazement and bathe in the cacophony. I can assert with precise accuracy this was not my happenstance for our new Traveler. No, he was meant to be with his Muse. And this my friend is where we say our goodbyes, but this it not nearly the end. For three more decades await, promising excursions beckon, the music of Muse is the binding agent for us to meet again. Maybe another country or state, but hopefully sooner than later because it’s getting hard to wait
