Wait a minute... let me just start by saying to Beyoncé, thank you for introducing us to so many artists. Lord Afrixana! When Mr. Eazi and Yemi Alade came on with Don’t Jealous Me ( of course I Shazamed that) both my Little boys got up dancing and rapping his lyrics. It was so catchy...I can’t talk for too long, got too much gold to try on. That song was fire!!! Another artist towards the end was also fire! Her rapping style was like Missy Elliot. Also seeing Jay Z mid way through gave me flash backs to the on the run tour. So dope! Super cute seeing cameos of her beautiful children.
Anyhow, visually this was everything. I will be honest and say half way through I paused it to do something else. I was bored. Finished watching the rest before bed and I take this album to be more relaxing than anything. I feel like a different title would have been nice. It throws the rest of us off thinking superiority but I can see what she meant by dedicating this album to her son Sir Carter. In a sense Black is everything to her. Also someone else here said it first... it felt like Beyoncé Just swerved into Solange’s lane. Maybe I should thank Solange for inspiring Beyoncé to create this because honestly Solange gave us this first. Will watch again to try and understand the story this time because it just didn’t flow naturally.
